By writing to your state representatives, you are showing a willingness to act for the greater good during times of uncertainty.Illinois residents are welcome to use the resources below to reach their state representatives in support of the following causes:
1. Endorse S.J.Res.111
Below are example templates which way be used for the purposes of endorsing S.J.Res.111, a joint resolution proposed by Vermont State Senator Senator Bernie Sanders to limit US funding to Israel. The templates below have been provided for Illinois residents to make it easy to write to your representatives. Feel free to edit or rewrite them to express your own unique voice.
2. Sign a petition urging the Illinois Treasurer to divest from Israeli funds.
Anti-War Committee Chicago (AWCC) has made it easy to pressure Illinois State Treasurer Michael W. Frerichs to end support to the State of Israel.
